Everything takes place during a single appointment lasting several hours. The process is designed to save you both time and money, while ensuring an accurate diagnosis and guidance for further follow-up.

Standard Assessment

Package 1

Assessment only

With Package 1, you will receive several questionnaires from us. We ask that you complete and return them before our appointment so we can review them in advance. The appointment itself lasts approximately 3 hours. During this time, a psychiatric diagnostic interview will be conducted. If possible, we would also like to speak with a close relative. In addition, we will administer the
MOXO d-CPT test.


If the results of the full assessment indicate an ADHD diagnosis, the patient will receive a medical statement confirming the diagnosis, along with an guidance and recommendations for further treatment.

If the diagnosis is unclear, a follow-up appointment or additional appointments will be scheduled for further evaluation until a diagnostic conclusion can be reached—at no extra cost.

In some cases during ADHD assessments, it may become necessary to evaluate other co-occurring conditions that could affect the patient’s situation. This may require additional consultations or more extensive information gathering. The costs associated with this extended evaluation are not included in the fixed price for the service and will be billed according to current hourly rates.

The digital assessment includes a free preliminary meeting to verify whether you qualify for this type of evaluation.

Express Package

Package 3

Assessment & treatment

We offer a fast-track package for those seeking a quick clarification. This includes a complete ADHD assessment and a supervised trial of ADHD medication, all carried out under our observation and medical supervision. If we determine that your condition is suitable for this type of assessment, the entire process will be completed in approximately 5 hours on the same day. This assessment is only conducted as an in-person consultation. The package includes one follow-up appointment for further medication adjustment, at no additional cost.

The fast-track assessment has been used abroad for many years, and ADHD Klinikken has experience with this method. The assessment is just as effective as the Standard Assessment (Package 1). We use the same tests, questionnaires, input from relatives, and psychiatric interview as in the Standard package. In addition, the MOXO d-CPT test is performed both with and without stimulant medication.

If an ADHD diagnosis is confirmed, the patient will receive a letter with the diagnosis, recommendations for medical and non-medical treatment, and an e-prescription for one month of medication. After completing the trial medication period—which can range from a few weeks to several months—a discharge summary will also be sent to your general practitioner. The Express Package includes one follow-up consultation for medication adjustment. Any additional consultations (including during the trial phase) for medication changes or clinical evaluations will cost NOK 1,500 per session. If a prescription renewal or change is needed, an additional fee of NOK 500 applies.

Your GP may take over continued treatment once the trial period is complete and your medication has been stabilized. We also provide guidance on how to manage the condition without medication, including treatment options and prognosis. If needed, additional medication adjustment appointments can be arranged upon request.

If you have other mental health conditions, such as anxiety or depression, you must be in treatment for these before undergoing the Express Assessment. This package cannot be used if you suffer from a severe mental illness and/or substance abuse issues.


If you have blood pressure issues, you must be stable in order to receive medical treatment.
